Digitalio, 2023: Tremend opens an office in Iași

In May 2023 Tremend opened an office in Iași, with a team of almost 100 people. The aim is for it to become a centre of excellence for the company’s work across industries.

§The team made it possible

“I am grateful to the whole Tremend Iași team. The fact that today we are officially announcing our presence in this region is due first of all to their energy and enthusiasm.” („Sunt recunoscător întregii echipe Tremend Iași. Faptul că astăzi ne anunțăm oficial prezența în această regiune se datorează în primul rând energiei și entuziasmului lor.”)

I called Iași “a very vibrant tech hub” („un hub tehnologic foarte vibrant”), and the new office “a very important step for us” („un pas foarte important pentru noi”), part of the company’s development strategy.

Moldova Invest, 2023, at the same announcement: “Until now we focused more on crystallising the team here, and it has started to take shape and settle, to be stable.” („Până acum ne-am focusat mai mult pe cristalizarea echipei de aici și a început să prindă contur și să se așeze, să fie stabilă.”)

§Tremend in 2023

At the time Tremend had 1,100 employees in Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria and more than 17 years in software development and IT consulting. The year before, it had doubled its number of engineers and become Publicis Sapient’s technology hub in Central and Eastern Europe, after joining Publicis Groupe in 2022.
