EY România, 2021: Entrepreneur Of The Year finalists, a California start-up and Tremend's firsts

Short film by EY România, 19 April 2021, about two minutes, in Romanian. Tremend’s founders, Ioan Cocan and I, finalists of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Romania 2020. I was then co-founder and managing partner of Tremend. EY’s description: former groupmates at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, founders of a company very active in software for the previous 15 years. Voices: Ioan Cocan and a narrator. §Romania on the IT map

Narrator (0:21): Ioan Cocan and I founded Tremend out of a wish to put Romania on the world’s IT map and to become a trusted technical partner for innovation projects. Over 15 years of consulting, strategy and implementation for complex software projects, innovation programmes and product management, with over 800 IT solutions built for clients in 20 countries on four continents (0:33).

§A California start-up, then Tremend

Ioan Cocan (0:00): he and I met in 2001 at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers and started working together in 2004, first for a start-up in California. Then, inspired by our colleagues there and by the network we had built, we decided together to found Tremend, in 2005.

§Firsts, partners and offices

Over 60 million people around the world using solutions built by Tremend every day. Through partnerships with Mastercard, Microsoft, Amazon and Salesforce, a technology and innovation services provider for the European Commission (1:10).
