Start-up.ro, 2018: the 648 Group deal, technical synergy and Tremend's track record

Tremend completes the acquisition of 648 Group, a US-based web and mobile development company founded by a Romanian, February 2018. Article by Vlad Andriescu. §A step in the US expansion

Tremend’s growth: revenue up 331% between 2013 and 2016, and the fastest-growing Romanian company in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 CE 2016. With clients already in 14 US states, the acquisition is a step in Tremend’s strategy of expanding in the United States, beside regions such as the UK and the Nordic countries. Val Bălănescu, the founder of 648 Group, joins Tremend as VP Business Development Americas. Val Bălănescu: impressed by Tremend’s agility and technical expertise in industries where 648 Group already had clients, telecom, retail, automotive, manufacturing and banking.
