StartupCafe, 2018: 648 Group, US projects and the integration plan

Tremend buys 648 Group, a US web and mobile development company also founded by Romanians, February 2018. Article by Raluca Abrihan. I was then co-founder and managing partner of Tremend. §The same projects, for US companies

An active local presence lets Tremend build for US companies solutions similar to the ones it builds for European companies: mobile banking, marketplaces, customer care platforms, IoT and solutions for autonomous vehicles, as well as solutions that integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning and biometrics.

§The team that came with the deal

648 Group: founded 18 years earlier, active in the United States for more than ten years, a team of 30 specialists, some in the US and some in Europe. Its clients include Samsung and Netflix. Through the deal, Tremend aims to consolidate its presence in the US. In 2017 Tremend was nominated by Inc. 5000 among the most dynamic software providers in Europe. It works for companies from 15 countries on three continents, in telecom, retail, financial services and automotive.
