Publicis Groupe buys Tremend, the Bucharest company founded 16 years earlier by Ioan Cocan and me, for an undisclosed sum, January 2022. Topics: Tremend’s growth since the pandemic, Telemed and TORP.

Growth since the pandemic

Tremend Software Consulting’s business expanded rapidly from the onset of the pandemic. Increased demand from banking, telecoms and healthcare clients for cloud software solutions took its revenue to €30m in 2021, 43% more than the previous year.

Elsewhere. ZF IT Generation, January 2022: “2021 was a very good year, with growth of over 40%, to over 30 million euros in revenue” („2021 a fost un an foarte bun, cu o creştere de peste 40%, la peste 30 de milioane de euro cifră de afaceri”).

Telemed and TORP

Two of Tremend’s own products: Telemed, a proprietary AI-enabled telemedicine platform, and TORP, a customer experience platform that helps companies begin automating their personalisation efforts and engage more customers.

Elsewhere. Economica.net, 2021: TORP, one of the products Tremend built during the pandemic, for digital onboarding.
